“Persecution is an enemy the Church has met and mastered many times. Indifference could prove to be a far more dangerous foe”–Brother Andrew, God’s Smuggler

I don’t remember how I came across this book, but I am glad I did. Brother Andrew is a Dutchman who left his faith as a young man. His experiences as a soldier cemented that decision, especially in light of some of the things he was involved with. God had other ideas, however, and Andrew eventually came back to faith and embraced his role as a missionary wholeheartedly. With the rise of communism, people in many countries no longer had access to bibles. Andrew began a decades long mission of smuggling bibles into these countries. His story is one of miracles, forgiveness, and grace. If you are a Christian, you will enjoy this book.
