“The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.”–Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie

Mitch Albom had a favorite mentor–Morrie Schwartz, a college professor he spent time with and admired. Over the years, Mitch lost track of Morrie but their paths crossed again in the lasts months of Morrie’s life. Mitch began visiting Morrie in his study every Tuesday, just as he had when he was in college. These meetings became one last class as Morrie taught Mitch about living and dying. He said, “The truth is, Mitch, once you learn how to die, you learn how to live.”

This is a beautiful book that is impossible to read without crying. Morrie gave Mitch a gift and Mitch gave that gift to us by sharing Morrie’s wisdom and their bittersweet time together.
