Throwback Thursday

This Newberry Honor Book published in 2016 is one of my favorites.  Set in 1249, it tells the story of three remarkable children complete with adventure, danger, and farting dragons!  It combines history with humor and difficult topics with deftness.  It is a great choice for kids and adults and the audiobook is fantastic!
